OGD INTENSIVE 2026 REGISTRATION & WAIVER

Please fill out the form below and then complete your registration by submitting the $400 deposit. (Nonrefundable, applied towards tuition.)

Participants can request an invoice to pay via PayPal for final payments but should be advised these payments incur a $35-$45 fee depending on the amount due.

You will receive an invoice and reminder via email for final registration payments. Final tuition payments are due within 30 days of registering or before June 10, 2026.

**A $35 insufficient funds fee will be assessed for any returned checks, and the total amount due must be paid via PayPal, cashier's check or money order. Additional fees may apply.

HEALTH & SAFETY-POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS

The health and safety of our participants, artists, crew, and staff remain our top priority each summer. Below are the current OGD Intensive policies. These protocols are subject to change, and any updates will be communicated to participants in a timely manner before the start of the intensive.

Personal Health Insurance: It is recommended that all participants have personal health insurance. Sweet Briar College and Orange Grove Dance do not provide healthcare services.

Medical Assistance: OGD staff will coordinate transportation to a local doctor, Urgent Care, or hospital if needed, including in the case of an emergency.

COVID-19 & Flu Policies: All OGD participants must comply with the health and safety policies of both OGD and Sweet Briar College regarding COVID-19 and influenza.

Vaccination Requirements: As of January 2026, in accordance with current CDC guidelines, students, faculty, and staff are not required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or the flu.

Illness Protocol: If a participant experiences cold-like respiratory symptoms, they must notify OGD staff immediately. Isolation, testing, and masking may be required in such cases.

WAIVER & RELEASE

Orange Grove Dance (OGD) is committed to conducting its intensive in a safe manner and holds the safety of participants in the highest regard. However, participants must recognize that there is an inherent risk of injury when choosing to participate in physical activities. You are solely responsible for determining if you are physically fit and/or skilled for any classes or activities. It is always advisable, especially if the participant is pregnant, disabled in any way, or has recently suffered an illness, injury or impairment, to consult a physician before undertaking any physical activity. Teachers should be made aware of any physical condition that would affect an artist’s ability to take class. Programs are intended to challenge and engage the physical, mental and emotional resources of each participant.

Despite careful and proper preparation, instruction, medical advice, conditioning and equipment, there is still a risk of serious injury when participating in any physical activity/program. In this regard, it must be recognized that Orange Grove Dance and its members are NOT responsible for any injury incurred during one of our intensives. Orange Grove Dance is also not responsible for any lost or stolen items left in the facilities.

PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE

I understand that the OGD Intensive will be photographed and/or recorded and I give permission for OGD, its successors and assigns to use my voice, image and likeness in any media or promotional materials relating to my performance in or observation of the OGD Intensive, including, without limitation, a videotape recording of the intensive, without compensation to, or right of review and/or approval by, me or my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns.
