Orange Grove Dance (OGD) is committed to conducting its intensive in a safe manner and holds the safety of participants in the highest regard. However, participants must recognize that there is an inherent risk of injury when choosing to participate in physical activities. You are solely responsible for determining if you are physically fit and/or skilled for any classes or activities. It is always advisable, especially if the participant is pregnant, disabled in any way, or has recently suffered an illness, injury or impairment, to consult a physician before undertaking any physical activity. Teachers should be made aware of any physical problem that would affect a student’s ability to take class. Programs are intended to challenge and engage the physical, mental and emotional resources of each participant.
Despite careful and proper preparation, instruction, medical advice, conditioning and equipment, there is still a risk of serious injury when participating in any physical activity/program. In this regard, it must be recognized that Orange Grove Dance and its members are NOT responsible for any injury incurred during one of our intensives. Orange Grove Dance is also not responsible for any lost or stolen items left in the facilities.
